Welcome to the Victoria cattery, I decided in 2013 to set up a small animal care business putting my love of animals and glamour into one! I know when you go away it can be a big thing leaving your cat but rest assured I will go to the greatest of lengths to make sure your cat or small animal is as comfortable as possible, just like they are at home. I only have 7 cat pens and have 7 cats in at the most. The animals are solely cared for by me . my mum sometimes helps out now she is retired from her job! I feel the animals prefer one person looking after them rather than different staff who they don't really know, this makes return visits more settling for them.
I personally worked at Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary for 5 years helping to run the cat section and assisting in rehoming hundreds of their cats, I did extensive studying in kittens and the care of cats, my own three cats living until way past there 21st birthdays! I am NVQ qualified in all aspects of cat care and every other small animal, with city and guilds certificates to prove. These are visible to all on entering the cattery. I am also one of the first catteries to use pure sanitise cleaning products! I wipe all our surfaces by hand including the floors with throw away cloths, each cloth is used on one cat chalet only and thrown away every day.
